Ham Egg and Cheese Wrap

We always have an abundance of eggs with our hens.  So, I came up with this Simple  Ham, egg, and cheese tortilla wrap for breakfast that is easy to take on the go.

Ingredients

When it comes to this simple recipe you can really make it your own. Mix it up, you could make it with eggs and cheese, or just ham and cheese. You can use your choice of meat, such as turkey or bacon. You can even choose the type of tortilla you pick. I use low-carb tortillas, but any tortilla will work. It is up to you!

Ham Egg and Cheese

I chose ham, egg, and cheese for multiple reasons. One, the entire family likes the ingredients. Two, we use sharp cheddar cheese, the sharper the better for us! It melts beautifully when it cooks in this wrap recipe. I would love this with bacon, but the price of bacon is insane!

How do you make a Ham, Egg, and Cheese Wrap

First, heat a small to medium-size skillet (the same size as your tortilla), I like to use one that is the same size as my tortilla. Melt butter in the skillet while scrambling (whisk with a fork) egg(s). Add eggs to the skillet once the butter has melted. Cook eggs until done. Add the tortilla on top then flip the tortilla and egg so the egg is on top. Add cheese and ham, then roll the tortilla to form a wrap. Heat both sides until toasty brown.

Ingredients

  • 1 T Butter
  • Tortilla i like low carb
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Slice of Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 slices deli-sliced ham or other meat

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a skillet (the same size as your tortilla).
  • Scramble egg and place in skillet with melted butter.
  • Cook eggs until almost done.
  • Add the tortilla on top then flip the tortilla and egg so the egg is on top.
  • Add cheese and ham, then roll the tortilla to form a wrap.
  • Heat both sides until toasty brown.
