Slow Cooker recipes are among my favorite ways to make an easy and flavorful meal. One of my favorite things about crockpot soup is coming home to a house full of the aromas of a meal that is ready to be served! How great is it to come home from a hard day of work and have a hot meal waiting for you after a chili day.

Tips for knowing your slow cooker:

• Each slow cooker and crockpot cooks a little differently, so keep in mind you may need to adjust the timing slightly. If you find the cook times usually too short, your slow cooker may be a little low on heat.
• A smaller slow cooker will heat more quickly, which may result in a reduced cook time. I always use my 4 Quart Hamilton Beach slow cooker which has always been reliable.
• A fuller crockpot will cook more slowly, so if you end up doing a double batch of something or adding in more things, keep in mind you may need to increase the cooking time.
